Author Description A recent transplant to Santa Fe, New Mexico, Rick Parker grew up in a suburb of Boston, then spent 30 years in the Bay Area of Northern California. His first novel, When Worlds Collide: A Novel of Morocco, was released in December 2015. <br /><br />In one of its recent magazines, Midwest Book Review said:<br /><br />"A carefully crafted and highly entertaining novel, "When Worlds Collide" is a compelling read from beginning to end -- and (you'll) even learn a little bit about a Moroccan Islamic culture as a beneficial counter to the Islamic terrorist distortions of one of the world's great monotheistic religions. Parker enjoys writing, photographing nature, hiking, and collecting folk art of different cultures. He is currently working on another novel.
