Author Description Born in Badalona, Spain, Francis Portela has been working in the American comics industry since 2001. He has worked on numerous Marvel Comics' series, including <i>Black Panther, Wolverine,</i> and <i>M.O.D.O.K.'s 11</i>, and on <i>The Legion of Super-Heroes, Animal Man,</i> and <i>Green Lantern</i> for DC Comics. At Valiant Entertainment, Francis illustrated a number of series including <i>Faith, Ivar: Timewalker</i>, and <i>Quantum and Woody</i>. Francis's most recent project is a miniseries based on the still-in-development <i>Unknown 9: Awakening</i> video game.
